When I launched Anea Hill in 2020, I had no idea the Anea Hill Goop HQ journey would become part of our story. But that is exactly what happened. A few years, thousands of customers, and countless hours of dreaming and designing later, I walked through the doors of Goop headquarters with a tray of sunglasses and a very full heart.
The Anea Hill Goop HQ journey was personal. Emotional. A milestone I will carry with me forever.
I built this brand from scratch. From my kitchen table. From a place of solving a problem I had myself. I wanted sunglasses that were luxurious but wearable. Beautiful but intentional. And I wanted them to actually fit well without the pressure points that leave you with a headache by noon.
And just like that, Anea Hill was born.
From Homegrown Brand to Fashion Authority
Anea Hill was never about chasing trends. It was always about doing things differently.
Each pair of Anea Hill sunglasses is handcrafted over a six to nine month process. We use bio based acetate made from cotton and lightweight lenses that feel like glass without the weight. Our frames are designed to be adjusted so they actually fit your face the way luxury eyewear should.

When we got the opportunity to present Anea Hill to the Goop team at their privately secure headquarters, I knew it had the potential to change everything.

So I packed up our collection and flew to California, filled with nerves, excitement, and a lot of prayers.
What It Felt Like to Walk Into Goop HQ
Walking into Goop HQ was like stepping into a dream. The space was filled with natural light and a kind of quiet confidence you could feel in the air.
In my hands I carried displays of Anea Hill frames. Some were already best sellers, like The Hampton, now polarized for the brightest days. Some were just launching, like Whisper, our creamy scalloped showstopper. And others, like The Muse, felt like personal favorites I wanted to show off.
The Goop team greeted me with grace and genuine curiosity. We talked materials, process, the way each frame can be adjusted to fit, and what makes Anea Hill truly different.
But I also brought something extra. Something just for Gwyneth.
A New Style Left for Gwyneth Herself
Before I left, I placed a very special pair of sunglasses on her desk. Our newest adjustable aviator style that is launching this fall. It was designed specifically for smaller faces and has been a labor of love for months.
I left them with a note and a quiet hope.

We are continuing to grow. The Anea Hill Society will be launched as a private community for our most loyal customers. New collections are on the way. Collaborations are in the works.
And yes, our adjustable aviators for smaller faces will be arriving this fall. I hope the first person spotted wearing them is Gwyneth herself.
